Challenge Cup Gets Underway

Sunday Oct 2nd 2016 marked the start of this seasons Challenge Cup tournament.  As both FC Crusaders and Lotus FC joined the League after the draw had been made, the remaining 16 teams from both divisions will be battling it out to see who will be the eventual winner.

Round 1 ties have been scheduled to be played across a number of Sundays in Oct.   On Sun Oct 2nd, there were 2 ties played and the results of these games are as follows:

  • Dinamo Dorigo  0-2  Auld Shillelagh
  • Philippine FC  1-0  The Hurricanes

Congratulations to both Auld Shillelagh and Philippine FC for winning their respective ties and progressing through to the next round. Commiserations to both Dinamo Dorigo and The Hurricanes.
