Final Score:  Badu Sports FC   9 – 1  Clerkenwell Old Boys

Match Summary:

Great game that started with Clerkenwell going 1-0 up in 20 minutes with a deflected shot, soon later Clerkenwell almost went 2-0 up but defender C. Ramos cleared the shot off the goal line.

Deeper into the game Badu started to find their feet and were soon level when G. Murphy found N. Badu who finished a fantastic goal.  Clerkenwell kept pushing forward looking for a goal and got caught on the counter attack when striker N. Badu was brought down in the box for a penalty, up stepped S. Kamara who slotted home to make it 2-1.  Clerkenwell heads dropped and Badu FC kept pushing till the end of the half when winger R. Alves bent in to make it 3-1 before half time.

Second half started with N. Badu hitting the inside of the post, soon after the Badu FC midfield linked up and winger J. Warburton found midfielder J. Oyibo finished off a fantastic dribble from the touch line to make it 4-1.  By now the Badu spirit was high and they kept pushing for more goals, which came thick and fast, winger J. Warburton was put through by S. Kamara and made it 5-1.  The game was soon put to bed when both S. Kamara and J. Oyibo both finished twice to grab a hatrick each.
