Recap

Clerkenwell Old Boys  3-3  Crouch End Rangers

Match Summary: (Clerkenwell Old Boys)
Clerkenwell raced to an early lead when Steve Killingback took a shot from the edge of the area and a Crouch End defender deflected past the Keeper. Ilyas Ismail was then cut in half in the area by a defender and the resultant penalty was dispatched by Killingback for his second of the game. Then Killingback turned provider for Ismail with a lovely low cross to the far post and Ismail slotted past the keeper on the run. Clerkenwell were cruising until, on the stroke of half time, Crouch End were awarded a penalty which they slotted home to give them hope.
In the 2nd half, Crouch End could not break down Clerkenwell but with 15 mins to go a long free kick was pumped into the box and Crouch End flicked on the ball to an unmarked player to make it 3-2 . With 10 mins left, Crouch End were awarded another free kick; this time the ball was launched into the box and in the confusion Clerkenwell conceded an own goal which levelled the score at 3-3.
Clerkenwell woke up and looked dangerous again chasing a winner but despite a heroic effort were unable to score the winner; the match finishing in a 3-3 draw.
