Recap
Surreal Madrid 2-2 Philippine FC
Match Summary: (Philippine FC)
A clash between the top two teams on a wet and windy day – PFC faced Surreal Madrid. From the off, there were chances for both teams but the best opportunities were in favour of Surreal. The whistle blew for the end of the first half just when PFC were growing in confidence after numerous chances from Surreal. The second half began with Michael Cepillo and Rob DePeazer coming on for the injured duo of Raymond Tordecilla and Mark Munoz. The beginning of the half was a tactical battle from both sides trying various strategies to break the deadlock and it finally came just after Richie Caparros had rounded the keeper and hit the bottom of the post from a tight angle. However, he made amends with a swivelled shot when Danny Blair cushioned a header on to his path. The second came when Haseeb Majeed went on a run and parted the defence and was clipped from behind and a penalty was given, to which Michael Cepillo converted, sending the keeper the wrong way. A quick change for PFC saw Jesse Arroyo switch with Eddie Gueverra. Surreal Madrid piled on the pressure taking advantage of tired legs and injuries and got 1 back from the left side, they didn’t wait long for the equaliser scoring from the same area to the dismay of Engel Cepillo who got his finger tips to the ball. The match ended in a stalemate with PFC still being unbeaten and sitting on top of the league.

Match Summary: (Surreal Madrid)
Surreal go 2-0 up for yet another game but the come back kings strike late again to take a point. Another great team performance but special mention for Theo Lanyon with his brace. Unbeaten start to the season continues and roll on the cup game next week.
