Recap

St. Peters  4-7  Philippine FC

Match Summary: (Philippine FC)

PFC returned to action after a deserved week off against St Peters. The game started with PFC going down 1 goal early but responded immediately putting pressure on St. Peter’s and got the equaliser through Jason Arroyo. The second goal came through Graeme Ryan when he received the ball from Rob DePeazer – and this wouldn’t be the only time Rob would influence the game. The third came when Jason Arroyo drove through midfield and squared it to Rob who hit a 20-yarder into the bottom right hand corner. Before the half ended PFC conceded another goal through a counter attack.  The second half was a good one for PFC, who scored 4 goals through DePeazer, assisted by Jason Arroyo, Jason Arroyo assisted by Michael Cepillo, DePeazer assisted by Michael Cepillo and to cap off the DePeazer show he scored a towering header when the ball was whipped in by Richie Caparros. Unfortunately the half ended with a goal for St. Peter’s but the win means PFC stay top on goal difference and 2 points clear.
