Recap

Clerkenwell Old Boys  2-1  AFC Brasenose

Match Summary: (Clerkenwell)

Dean Francis scored a stunning last minute winner from 25 yards to finish off a cup game that was more one sided than the scoreline suggest. Francis started the scoring early in the second half with a smart turn and swivel in the box after a cross from Jamie Killingback.

Only for defender Matty Salvoni to score a contender for goal of the season a header from 18 yards out past his own keeper!!!  Albert Cruise and Ilyas Ismail had efforts come back off the bar and Harvey Ferguson-Boon and Steve Killingback missed the target when the goal was glaring.  Steve Killingback made up for it when he received a ball wide after a great run from Iylas Ismail, Killingback then laid a perfect ball across to Dean Francis who finished in still from 25 yards out with 30 seconds left on the watch.

Our Man-of-the-Match was Jamie Killingback

  — Paul Ferguson, Clerkenwell Old Boys
