Camden Sunday Football League
Formed in 1954, The Camden Sunday Football League is a friendly and competitive senior men’s league in North London. The league currently has 2 divisions and runs a further 3 to 4 cup tournaments each season. All its matches are played on the North Marsh at Hackney Marshes. Our motto ‘Non Sibi Sed Toti‘ means ‘Not for one’s self, but for all‘. New teams, players and officials are always welcome to join the league.
Chairman’s Message
The Camden Sunday League is one of the friendliest adult football leagues in London, playing Sunday mornings at Hackney North Marsh from September through to May. Our football is true grassroots football, where players pay to play at the home of grassroots football.
Home clubs are expected to provide hospitality for the opposition and match officials at half time, acknowledging that there should be more to football than simply 90 minutes on the pitch. Everyone knows that they have to go back to work on Monday morning!
Match officials are an integral part of the game and very much part of the family. There is no “them and us” – officials are treated just as hospitably as the opposition. Anyone interested in officiating in the league will be very welcome.
